2023년 11월 21일에 MOL 직원 및 해상직원 그리고 동지해운 직원들이 모두 모여 해상직원을 위한 세이프티 세미나가 개최되었습니다.

On Nov 21, 2023, MOL staff, sea staff and Dongji staff all gathered to open a safety seminar for sea staff.

 

 

Opening Message from MOL

MOL 에너지선박관리전략 부서의 Capt. Yamauchi 부장의 Opening Message를 시작으로 해상직원들을 위한 세미나가 개최되었습니다.

Capt. Yamauchi as General Manager of Energy Ship Management Strategy and Supervising Division initiated the seminar for sea staff by delivering the opening message at the beginning of the seminar.

 

 

1. GSS Seafarers Strategy

MOL 해상직원 전략관리팀의 요시미상이 해상직원들의 복지, 문화 및 앞으로 나아갈 방향에 대해 설명했습니다.

Yoshimi San, Assistant Manager of the Seafarer Strategy Management Team, shared insights during the seminar. She talked about the welfare culture for maritime employees and discussed future direction.

 

2. Understanding of EEXI・ CII

MOLLNG 선박관리사의 공무 감독 김시원 감독이 현 시행중인 선박의 온실가스 배출 문제를 해결하기 위한 규정 EEXI(에너지 효율 선박 지수)에 대해 설명했습니다.

EEXI 실행 목적, 계산 및 규정, 본선의 조치 사항, 구현 일정과 글로벌 영향 등 전반적인 EEXI에 대한 MOL 육해상 직원들이 인지해야 할 규정 등에 대해서 다루었습니다.

 

MOL's technical superintendent, Kim Siwon, provided a thorough overview of the Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI) during the seminar. This regulation is currently in place to deal with greenhouse gas emissions from ships.

 

He explained the key aspects of EEXI regulations that MOL's office and sea personnel should know. This includes the regulation's objectives, how to calculate and comply with it, actions required for vessels, the schedule for implementation, and the overall global impact of these measures.

 

 

 

3. Alcohol Policy and Guidelines

MOLLNG 선박관리사의 배혜정 해무감독이 MOL의 현 시행중인 알코올 규정과 지침에 대해서설명하였습니다.

Bae Hye-jeong, the Manning superintendent of MOL seafarer team, provided an overview of MOL's existing alcohol regulations and guidelines during the seminar.

 

 

4. Safety, Health & Compliance

MOLLNG 선박관리사의 전무이사인 C/E 키타오카상이 안전, 건강 및 규정 준수를 주제로 최근 MOL 선단에 일어난 사고 및 안전 관리에 대한 사항들을 설명했습니다.

Kitaoka san, Director/Managing Executive Officer of the Ship Management Department, discussed safety, health, and compliance during the safety seminar. He addressed recent incidents in the MOL fleet and highlighted essential information that both office and sea personnel need to know about safety management.

 

 

5. Mitigation Plan of Roll-Over

MOLLNG 선박관리사의 안전운항 팀의 오사무라상이 LNG 화물의 롤오버(roll-over)에 대해 설명하였습니다. 롤오버란 무엇인지, 롤오버의 판단과 다양한 예시를 통한 운용 계획 및 방향성에 대해서 설명하였습니다.

Osamura san, HSEQ & Marine Superintendent of the Safety and Operation Team, talked about the roll-over of LNG cargo during the seminar. He covered what roll-over is, how to judge roll-over situations, and provided examples of operation plans and future actions.

 

 

6. Starlink Network Update

MOL 전략해상인사 기획팀의 팀장 노다상이 MOL 선박의 스타링크 시범 운행, 현황과 계획에 대해서 설명하였습니다.

Noda san, General Manager of the MOL Crewing Team, discussed the Starlink trial operation on MOL ships during the seminar. He shared information about the current status of the trial and outlined the future plans.

 

Closing Message from MOLLNG

MOLLNG의 오타 사장님께서 해상직원들에게 격려와 지지의 희망찬 메시지로 세미나를 마무리했습니다.

Ota san, President of MOL LNG Transportation, concluded the seminar with an uplifting message of encouragement and support for our employees, promising a bright future ahead.
